About Comprehensive Health Check
A health-assessment programme with tests selected for your age, medical history and risk factors, followed by results review and follow-up planning.
A health check is an assessment programme, not a surgical specialty or a fixed set of tests suitable for everyone. It starts with age, personal and family history, symptoms, medicines and lifestyle. A clinician then decides which tests may be useful and what they are intended to assess.
The assessment may include measurements, risk discussions and selected investigations. More tests do not automatically mean better care. Ask why each test is proposed, what its limitations are, how the result may change your care and whether preparation is required. Follow the provider’s instructions about fasting rather than assuming it is needed.
A normal screening result does not rule out every condition or guarantee future health. Some findings require repeat testing or diagnostic assessment, and uncertain results may need further discussion. Tell the clinician about symptoms rather than relying on a general screening package.
Request a written programme listing consultations, investigations, inclusions, costs and who will explain the results. Some steps may fit within a short visit, but completion in one day is not guaranteed when additional tests or follow-up are needed.
Share your purpose and available medical history privately with Sila to coordinate a programme request. Keep copies of results and follow-up advice, and discuss treatment decisions with your clinician.
