Welcome to the Sila Community.

This community wasn't created to be just a space for advertising or introducing services. It's meant to be an open Arabic-speaking space that brings together patients and companions, people considering treatment outside their home countries, and people who have been through treatment in India and want to share what they learned with others.

We believe the treatment journey doesn't start at the airport; it starts with the right question, clear information and good preparation.

That's why we created this space: so you can find someone to ask, things to learn, and experiences that help you understand the road ahead better.

First: what can you find here?

1. Medical and medical-travel knowledge

General information about medical specialties, types of treatment services, how to research hospitals and doctors, and what you should know before deciding to travel.

2. Patient and companion experiences

A space where people who have already travelled for treatment share and talk about their experience with the hospital, accommodation, transport, their stay and the challenges they faced.

3. Preparing for medical travel

Discussions about visas, medical reports, appointments, flights, accommodation, companions and daily needs while staying in India.

4. Costs and financial planning

Sharing information about the cost items of a medical trip, including tests, medical procedures, accommodation, living costs and companions, bearing in mind that cases, hospitals and treatment plans differ.

5. Questions and open discussions

No question is too simple or unimportant when it comes to your health or the health of someone in your family. Ask your question; the answer may also help someone else going through the same circumstances.

Second: how do you take part in the community?

- Ask your question clearly, and include the general information that helps others understand it. - Share your experience honestly, whether it was positive or involved challenges and difficulties. - Respect different experiences and opinions. - Share what you know, and don't pass on rumours as facts. - Help new members; your answer may ease their uncertainty.

Third: community rules

We want this space to stay safe and useful for everyone, so we commit to the following:

1. Mutual respect, with no abuse, bullying or hurtful remarks. 2. No random advertising, spam or unauthorized promotion. 3. No posting patients' details or photos of their medical reports without their consent, and personal information must be hidden. 4. No offering medical diagnoses, prescribing medicines or changing doses as if they were confirmed advice. 5. No posting misleading medical information or undocumented treatment claims. 6. Respecting members' privacy, and not republishing their experiences or details outside the community without permission. 7. Disclosing any commercial interest or relationship with a hospital or service provider when recommending it.

The admin team reserves the right to review and remove content that breaks the rules and to take appropriate action to protect the community.

Fourth: Sila's role in this community

Sila, a medical travel and tourism agency for India, oversees this space to spread knowledge, make it easier to exchange experiences, and provide information about medical trips to India.

We believe transparency matters more than promises, and that every patient has different needs and circumstances.

Sila is a coordination and support partner for medical travel, not a diagnostic or medical treatment provider. Medical decisions are made by the specialist doctors and hospitals after assessing the case.
